Artist Bharati Janardan

Bharati hails from India where she studied under the well known artist, S.B. Palsikar of Sir J.J. School of Arts in Mumbai. Starting with oils, Bharati has ventured into watercolors, finding it a more challenging medium. Her transparent colors are applied with a quiet deliberation, resulting in an unusual freshness in her pieces. Truly, art runs in her veins.

Bharati's paintings are part of numerous private collections. She is also active in her Cincinnati-area art clubs, including with the Queen City Art Club and the Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati.
